Cherry County Hospital & Clinic in Valentine, Nebraska seeks a Radiologic Technologist to join our Imaging Department. This role performs X-ray, CT, bone densitometry, and mammography procedures when qualified, delivering high-quality images and compassionate patient care.

We value collaboration with physicians and radiologists, strict QA and PACS documentation, and participation in training and on-call rotations. Nebraska licensure and ARRT registry are required, with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or eligible for certification.
• Nebraska Medical Radiographer License (or eligible).
• CT and Mammography experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and teamwork.
• Must have graduated from an accredited radiology program.
• Current ARRT registry in good standing.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-ray, CT, bone densitometry, and mammography (if qualified).
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images to support accurate diagnoses.
• Provide safe, compassionate care for patients of all ages.
• Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and the healthcare team.
• Maintain imaging equipment, QA standards, and PACS documentation.
• Participate in department training, quality improvement, and on-call rotation as scheduled.
