Candidates must complete an Accredited Radiologic Technology program, hold ARRT-R certification, and maintain BLS; excellent patient communication and care are essential to support the Wellstar Health System's patient-first approach.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completed.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification required.
• BLS certification required (Instructor or standard).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge in Diagnostic Imaging while applying ALARA and department standards.
• Performs imaging exams in varied settings; evaluates image quality and ensures patient identification.
• Provides optimal patient care and supports patient-family centered care.
• Maintains patient safety and responds to emergencies appropriately.
• Adheres to aseptic technique and hand hygiene.
• Assists Radiologist with procedures and protocols.
• Other duties as assigned.
