Job summary

The Radiologic Technologist at Wellstar Health System performs a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures across all ages, under Radiologist or Manager supervision, while applying ALARA to minimize exposure.

You will ensure patient safety and comfort, evaluate image quality, assist with procedures, and comply with Wellstar policies. Accredited program in Radiologic Technology and ARRT-R/BLS certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT-R and BLS certifications required upon hire.
• Ability to operate Diagnostic Imaging equipment and provide excellent patient service.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging across ages and ensure ALARA principles.
• Evaluate image quality and perform post-processing.
• Provide patient-centered care and ensure safety.
• Assist Radiologist with procedures.
• Follow Wellstar policies and duties as assigned.
