Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiologic procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist. You will determine appropriate techniques, positioning, and safety measures to evaluate medical conditions ordered by physicians.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, ARRT registration (or eligible with registry within 12 months), BCLS certification, and ongoing education hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must maintain the required hours of continued education.
• Registered in Radiography with ARRT or registry eligible.
• If registry is eligible, obtain within 12 months of hire.
• Healthcare Provider certification (BCLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiologic procedures for evaluation of pathology as ordered by a physician.

Performs related functions according to department protocols. Utilizes independent judgment in determining appropriate radiographic techniques, positioning, and safety practices.

Education/Experience Required

High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.

Must maintain the required hours of continued education.

Certifications/Licensures Required

Must be registered in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or registry eligible.

If registry is eligible, registry must be obtained within 12 months of date of hire.

Healthcare Provider certification required (BCLS).
