Job summary

TridentCare is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiography, EKGs, and patient visits across multiple locations in Omaha. The role accommodates part-time or full-time schedules.

You will travel to diverse settings, operate DR radiology equipment, and maintain documentation and equipment while ensuring patient care quality. Ideal candidates hold ARRT certification, state licenses, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and technical training.
• Proficiency with medical terminology and basic office software.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform tasks independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate portable radiology equipment to produce diagnostic images for interpretation.
• Travel with equipment to nursing homes, facilities, jails, or patients' homes as ordered.
• Perform EKGs when needed and transmit for interpretation.
• Handle exam paperwork and billing documents daily per protocol.
• Maintain vehicle and radiography equipment in good condition.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, peers and clients.
• Assist with special projects as directed by supervision.

Description

Late Afternoon/Evening, Part-time or Full-time available

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operating portable (DR) radiology equipment to produce diagnostic quality images for Radiologist interpretation.
• Driving company vehicle with radiology equipment to various locations (nursing homes, assisted livings, jails, and/or patients’ own homes) to perform various x-ray exams as ordered by the physician
• Perform EKGs (as needed) and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation. (if required)
• Obtain and scan required exam related paperwork/billing documents on a daily basis per protocol.
• Regularly communicate with dispatch and management.
• Communicate efficiently and interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
• Maintain vehicle and x-ray equipment.
• Technologist must care for their equipment in a professional manner.
• Perform special projects or other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
