Must be able to work with physicians and nursing staff to position patients and maintain safety, with potential standby duties.

Qualifications

• Capable of routine diagnostic procedures including fluoroscopy, OR, trauma, portable radiographs.
• Current Oregon RT license and ARRT registration.
• BLS Basic Life Support.
• New graduates must have a current Oregon limited RT license versus a regular RT license and ARRT registration.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a positive and professional atmosphere for patients.
• Transfers and properly positions patients for examinations to obtain desired radiographic results according to physician specifications.
• Provides immobilization as required and protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
