Qualifications

• ARRT certification is mandatory for the role.
• Candidates must possess Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.

• Must have been working as an X-ray technologist in a hospital within the last six months.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic examinations.
• Operate radiographic imaging equipment.
• Position patients for diagnostic X-ray images.
• Adjust equipment settings and select exposure factors.
• Review and retake images when necessary.
• Maintain imaging documentation and patient records.
• Perform various examinations including chest and gastrointestinal imaging.
• Maintain equipment and report malfunctions.
• Adhere to infection control and radiation safety standards.
• Provide portable X-ray services throughout the facility.
• Participate in emergency and after-hours imaging coverage.
