Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (RT Mobile) for full-time work across Bridgehampton and Hampton Bays. The RT will perform x-ray procedures, assist Medical Providers, and support administrative tasks to keep centers running smoothly.

The role requires a Radiologic Tech program graduation, a high school diploma, and BLS certification at hire. ARRT registration is preferred, with a strong emphasis on patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Graduate of accredited Radiologic Tech program (required).
• BLS certification required at time of hire.
• ARRT (American Registry) certification preferred/required.

Responsibilities

• Perform x-ray services for patients of all ages under medical direction.
• Position patients correctly and protect during exposure; ensure patient safety.
• Maintain QA/QC logs, document daily controls and calibrations, and report equipment issues.
• Provide administrative support to ensure efficient center operations.

Position Summary

The Radiologic Technologist (RT) works with Medical Providers and Medical Assistants with the examination and treatment of our patients. This role is responsible for providing a variety of technical procedures and applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis for patients, including performing patient x-rays and reporting results to Medical Providers. Additional responsibilities include providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of our Centers. In a collaborative manner, the RT will provide support to Medical Providers, Medical Assistants and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication.

Key Responsibilities | Responsible for x-ray services as needed

• Under the clinical direction of the Medical Provider, perform x-ray services for patients by applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly.
• Ensure patients are positioned correctly on or in front of equipment and protected during use.
• Will need to push patient in a wheelchair
• Follow operating instructions to perform and document daily controls and calibration of equipment; maintain Quality Assurance/Quality Control logs for equipment troubleshoot breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance, and submit repair tickets as needed.
