Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiologic procedures and support imaging operations. The role requires certification and licensure in radiography, BLS within 30 days, and ARRT registration within 1 year.

The ideal candidate will maintain image quality, assist radiologists, and ensure patient safety while handling contrast administration and PACS data; relocation and sign-on bonuses are offered.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days (AHA).
• Registered in Radiography (R) within 1 year (ARRT).
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography - IEMA.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic procedures by acquiring and processing patient exams.
• Reviews cases with the radiologist when appropriate.
• Reviews labs and patient history to perform correct exam.
• Administers IV contrast and oral/rectal contrast when appropriate.
• Recognizes and responds to adverse reactions or allergies.
• Transfers and verifies image data in PACS for Radiologist interpretation.
• Maintains imaging equipment and work area.

Education

Associate’s Degree: Related Field; Certificate of Completion: Radiologic Technology
