Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures using various imaging equipment, in support of patient diagnosis and care.

The role requires BLS within 30 days, Illinois licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, and ARRT registration within a year, with the ability to administer contrast and manage potential reactions in compliance with department protocols.

Qualifications

• Certification: BLS within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA).
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography - Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA).
• Registered in Radiography (R) within 1 year - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures by acquiring and processing patient exams per department protocols.
• Review cases with radiologist and patient history to ensure correct exam.
• Administer IV and oral/rectal contrast and monitor for adverse reactions.
