Job summary

Luminis Health in Annapolis, MD seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform routine radiographic procedures in accordance with safety and quality standards. You will verify demographics, ensure image quality, and assist radiologists, while protecting patients from unnecessary exposure.

Required are ARRT certification in diagnostic radiography, Maryland licensure, and BLS CPR. The role involves clinical duties, teaching support, and collaboration across departments within a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a 2-year radiologic technology program.
• Current ARRT certification in diagnostic radiography.
• Maryland licensure is required.
• BLS CPR certification for Health Care Providers.

Responsibilities

• Process radiographic exams and verify demographics and info.
• Maintain quality of work within established time frames.
• Ensure info is correctly displayed for Radiologist in EMR.
• Assess patient condition and assist in emergencies as needed.
• Provide radiation protection and attend safety courses.
• Restock supplies and notify supervisor of shortages.
• Assist rotating students with clinical education.
• Rotate through OR exams to maintain expertise.
• Participate in department process improvement initiatives.
