Qualifications

• Successful completion of a two-year radiological technology program in an AMA approved educational institution.
• Current certification in diagnostic radiography by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Current State of Maryland licensure required.
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Processes radiographic films and checks technical quality.
• Completes procedures maintaining quality within time frames.
• Assesses patient condition and administers first aid as needed.
• Provides radiation protection to all patients.
• Confers with manager for feedback and improvements.
• Monitors supplies and notifies manager of shortages.
• Assists in clinical education of students.
• Maintains current license and participates in educational activities.
