Qualifications
Successful completion of a two-year radiological technology program in an AMA approved educational institution.
Current certification in diagnostic radiography by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Current State of Maryland licensure required.
Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification.
Responsibilities
Processes radiographic films and checks technical quality.
Completes procedures maintaining quality within time frames.
Assesses patient condition and administers first aid as needed.
Provides radiation protection to all patients.
Confers with manager for feedback and improvements.
Monitors supplies and notifies manager of shortages.
Assists in clinical education of students.
Maintains current license and participates in educational activities.
