Job summary

Orthopedic Physicians Alaska is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the OPA Lake Otis location in Anchorage. This PRN role involves performing radiologic exams in a safe, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities include patient prep, operating C-arm equipment, image processing and PACS transmission, and supporting OR procedures while adhering to ALARA and safety standards. ARRT registration and an associate degree are required.

Qualifications

• One year experience as X-ray technologist.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist.
• Associates degree in radiological technology from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and ensure radiation safety.
• Operate Large C-arm and Mini C-arm, adjust densities, and maintain ALARA.
• Download, label, and transmit images to PACS and assist with OR procedures.
• Position patients appropriately for X-rays and ensure proper exposure settings.
• Maintain records, equipment cleanliness, and comply with safety standards.
