Houston Methodist is seeking a Radiologic Tech I to perform routine diagnostic radiology procedures including X-ray and fluoroscopy, with OR case support. The technologist will assist physicians, ensure patient safety, and uphold ALARA standards in a patient-centered imaging environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, accurate documentation, and effective communication with patients and staff to deliver high-quality imaging services.

Formación

• Graduate of education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s) indicated below in the Certifications, Licenses and Registrations section

Responsabilidades

• Performs diagnostic radiology procedures including X-Ray exams and fluoroscopy, with support for OR cases.
• Provides direct assistance to physicians during diagnostic or special procedures and ensures proper sterile technique.
• Maintains ALARA and radiation safety standards to protect patients and staff.
• Documents procedures and charges accurately at the time of service.
• Communicates with patients and families to explain procedures and reduce anxiety.
