• Must maintain the required hours of continued education.

Responsibilities

• Explain examination procedure to patients and prepare for the exam.
• Review requisition data and obtain patient history as needed.
• Prepare procedure room and maintain stock of supplies.
• Set up equipment and perform radiologic procedures with proper technique and safety.
• May administer IV contrast and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Follow ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
• Prepare and store sterile equipment and follow infection control practices.
• Complete all documentation and records related to procedures.
