This Nursing role requires independent practice within a clinical setting, providing both routine and complex patient care while demonstrating ongoing development in managing clinical contingencies.

Responsibilities include:

1. Assessing patient needs, developing and modifying care plans using evidence-based practices, administering treatments, and educating patients and families.
2. Utilizing critical thinking and the nursing process to ensure safe, effective care, and managing patient flow and unit operations effectively.
3. Maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, promoting safety, and participating in quality improvement activities.
4. Proficient in health information documentation, medical equipment, and processing medical orders, with the ability to interpret patient charts accurately.
5. Ensuring patient safety by adhering to safety guidelines, reporting incidents, and addressing physiological and psychological concerns.
6. Requiring a BSN, RN license, BLS, and relevant certifications (e.g., Fetal Monitoring, STABLE, ACLS, NRP). Prior experience in perinatal nursing or completion of related residency is preferred.
7. Work schedule is 7PM-7AM, per diem as needed.
