Job summary

JMH is seeking a CT Technologist to prepare patients for imaging procedures and to perform CT scans with precision and efficiency. You will follow the department's protocol and work under the supervision of a licensed practitioner for diagnostic interpretation by a radiologist.

Qualifications include ARRT CT certification, BLS, and California CRT licenses with fluoroscopy within 6 months of hire. Shifts vary; 40 hours weekly; Bay Area market compensation applies.

Qualifications

• Certificate Venipuncture required or within 6 months of assuming position.
• ARRT CT certification required, starting 7/31/2019, for anyone who transfers into CT Technologists role after 7/31/2019, before that individual is reclassified as Multi-Modality Technologist.
• BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association Required
• CRT Diagnostic - California Department of Public Health - Radiologic Health Branch Required
• CRT Fluoroscopy - California Department of Public Health - Radiologic Health Branch Must be Obtained within 6 months of hire Required

Performs procedures with accuracy and thoroughness in a timely manner, adhering to the protocols outlined in the department's procedure manual upon the order of a licensed independent practitioner for diagnostic interpretation by a radiologist.

Additional Experience Requirements

ARRT CT Certification required, starting 7/31/2019, for anyone who transfers into CT Technologists role after 7/31/2019, before that individual is reclassified as Multi-Modality Technologist (including for pay rate purposes). Multi-Modality Tech classification and pay rate attaches only after ARRT CT certification exam is passed. Failure to pass within 14 months after transfer into CT Technologist role results in individual remaining a Radiologic Technologist.

Hourly

Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.

Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area .

Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word 'exempt' on it.
