Job summary

Mille Lacs Health System in Milaca, MN is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform fluoroscopy, CTs, X-ray, and surgical imaging under the Radiology Manager and Radiologist. You will position patients, follow ALARA principles, and document in the EMR for every exam.

The role requires ARRT certification, MN license, and BLS. Preference for hospital setting experience; joint effort with various clinics may occur.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized two-year technical program.
• Current Radiology license in MN by ARRT.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Performs fluoroscopies, CTs, general X-ray, portables, and surgery.
• Positions patients to obtain diagnostic, high-quality images.
• Adheres to ALARA principles.
• Follow physician instructions and prepare radiography equipment.
• Document in EMR for every exam performed.
• Communicate exam details to radiologist and status to be read.
• Submit studies to after-hours service with necessary information.
• Properly complete charges for exams performed.
• Burn CD or push DICOM images on request for transfers.
• Notify manager of equipment issues and keep schedule informed.
• Work towards radiologic competencies and learn new modalities.
• Utilize downtime for assigned tasks.
