Job summary

Illinois Pain & Spine Institute is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to support physicians during fluoroscopy-guided procedures and perform diagnostic imaging. The role emphasizes safety, image quality, and collaboration with physicians and staff.

You will ensure equipment maintenance, follow radiation safety protocols, and provide patient care in an outpatient setting. This is a full-time role with a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM–4:30 PM) based in Barrington, IL 60010, with occasional travel

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiography from an accredited program.
• CRT credential required by the state.
• ARRT registration current.
• At least one year of healthcare management experience.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, radiographic techniques, and radiation safety.
• Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software.
• Ability to travel occasionally between Barrington and Elgin locations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and calibrate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment to capture clear, accurate images.
• Position patients and equipment for procedures as directed by physicians.
• Follow radiation safety, infection control, and patient protection protocols.
• Communicate patient information promptly and accurately to nursing staff.
• Maintain equipment, monitor supplies, and report equipment malfunctions.
• Complete procedure logs, documentation, quality checks, and required safety records.
• Assist with patient care and respond appropriately to contrast reactions or other emergencies.
