The Radiologic Technologist (RT) collaborates with Medical Providers and/or Medical Assistants to examine and treat GoHealth Urgent Care patients. Responsibilities include performing technical procedures, applying ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis, analyzing patient x-rays, and reporting results to Medical Providers. Additional duties involve administrative support to ensure efficient operation of centers, supporting patient care management, organization, and communication.

Job Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma required.
• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program required.

Work Experience

• Experience in a clinical setting preferred.

Required Licenses/Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through ARC or AHA required at hire.
• ARRT registration required at hire.
• State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist required as per state law.

Essential Functions

• X-ray services: perform x-ray procedures, ensure proper patient positioning, and protect during use.
• Patient Registration: handle paperwork, insurance verification, co-pays, and scheduling.
• Patient Preparation and Rooming: prepare patients, conduct interviews, record vital signs, perform point of care tests, and inform providers.
• Stocking: maintain supplies and exam rooms, check expiration dates.
• Administrative duties: maintain medical records, answer calls, manage correspondence, ensure reception readiness, conduct follow-ups, and perform equipment maintenance.
