Job summary

Concentra in Waterbury is seeking a Radiologic Technologist & Medical Support Specialist to perform routine radiologic exams and provide high-quality patient care under supervision. You will help ensure safety, accuracy, and positive patient experiences.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, operating x-ray equipment, maintaining documentation, and supporting the medical team. Prior ARRT and CPR/First Aid certification are required, with HIPAA compliance and strong customer service skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate radiologic technology program with ARRT certification.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and position them.
• Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Ensure radiation safety for patients and team members.
• Maintain equipment and report malfunctions to leadership.
• Follow radiology workflows and ensure EMR accuracy.
• Document patient visits and maintain QA/QC records.
• Assist with routine medical procedures and patient flow.
