Job summary

The Radiologic Technologist at MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital performs a full range of diagnostic imaging exams using fixed equipment, portable radiography and fluoroscopy to support trauma imaging, operating room cases and routine studies within a multidisciplinary care team.

Graduates or eligible graduates with an AA in Imaging must obtain Washington State licensure within three months; ARRT registration is required, with BLS certification essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Graduate or eligible for graduation with an AA degree from accredited Imaging program or equivalent.
• X-Ray Technician Registration with the State of Washington Department of Health; must transition to Certified Radiologic Technologist within 3 months of hiring.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; if registry is pending, must complete within 6 months.
• BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of diagnostic radiology exams using fixed, portable, and fluoroscopic imaging equipment.
• May support trauma imaging, operating room cases, as well as routine diagnostic studies.
• Ensure imaging exams are completed in accordance with established departmental policies and clinical guidelines.
