Job summary

MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, WA is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform a full range of diagnostic imaging exams with fixed, portable and fluoroscopic systems. You will support trauma imaging, operating room cases and routine studies as a clinical resource within a multidisciplinary care team.

Requirements include an AA degree in an imaging program, WA DOH registration (transition within 3 months), ARRT registration, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

Graduate or eligible for graduation with an AA degree from accredited Imaging program or equivalent.
X-Ray Technician Registration with the State of Washington Department of Health required to transition to Certified Radiologic Technologist within 3 months of hiring.
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required; if registry is pending, must complete within 6 months from date of hire into this job classification.
BLS Certification

Responsibilities

Perform a broad range of diagnostic radiology exams using fixed, portable, and fluoroscopic imaging equipment.
May support trauma imaging, operating room cases, as well as routine diagnostic studies.
Ensure imaging exams are completed in accordance with established departmental policies and clinical guidelines.
Serve as a clinical resource and role model, working effectively both independently and as part of the care team
