SHIFT III : 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM
PURPOSE OF POSITION
Radiologic Technologists (RTs) are responsible for preparing and positioning patients to obtain the most accurate images. Tasks may include assisting radiologists with procedures, administrative duties such as scheduling, and maintaining patient records.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Under general supervision, coordinate and supervise the activities of staff Radiologic Technologists, Nurses' Aides, and clerks. Schedule patient procedures and perform imaging according to protocol. Ensure availability of CT services across departments and facilities. Report to the Associate Director of Radiology.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Valid license and current registration to practice Diagnostic Radiography as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the NYSDOH. Cross-training in different modalities and settings is provided with a differential of $7,500 annually for levels II and III.
