Job summary

The Center for Allied Health Education, Brooklyn campus, seeks a Radiography Instructor to guide the next generation of radiologic technologists. You will deliver engaging lectures, supervise hands-on labs, and shape curriculum to meet current accreditation standards.

Applicants bring a Bachelor’s in Radiologic Technology (Master’s preferred), ARRT certification, NY licensure, and at least three years of clinical experience. Teaching passion and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • ARRT certification and NY State licensure required.
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical radiologic technologist experience.
  • Teaching or instructional experience is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide engaging instruction across radiologic technology topics.
  • Develop lesson plans, course materials, and assessments.
  • Deliver hands-on training in radiographic procedures with safety focus.
  • Create an inclusive, supportive learning atmosphere.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies.
  • Collaborate with faculty to uphold program quality and accreditation.
