Job summary

Grady Health System is seeking a Full-Time Radiologic Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team and provide high-quality radiographic imaging for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients. Under the direction of the Radiologist, you will perform imaging procedures while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.

You will ensure accurate patient identification, maintain imaging quality, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff to support optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiography Program required.
• Registered or registry-eligible with ARRT and must obtain ARRT certification within six months of hire.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients.
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure safety, infection control, and hygiene standards.
• Identify patients using two identifiers and use the AIDET framework.
• Track patients from start to finish to ensure accurate workflow and documentation.
• Process, transfer, and archive images using PACS and reconcile daily exceptions.
