Job summary

AltaPointe Health Systems in Mobile, AL is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic X-ray examinations, ensure patient safety, and maintain imaging standards. You will train staff, validate competency, document in EMR, and collaborate with physicians and nurses to deliver high-quality care while adhering to HIPAA and OSHA guidelines.

The role requires ARRT registration eligibility, BLS/CPR, and a commitment to ongoing education and quality improvement in a outpatient/clinical

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Must be eligible for ARRT Radiography certification at time of hire.
Must obtain active ARRT registration within six months and maintain registration.
Current BLS/CPR certification.
Experience in outpatient or ambulatory care preferred.
Knowledge of digital radiography, patient positioning, radiation safety, and imaging equipment.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders and guidelines.
Provide training and consultation to staff who perform X-rays.
Assess and validate staff competency.
Ensure adherence to imaging standards and radiation safety practices.
Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to deliver high-quality care.
