Responsibilities

• Explain procedures to patients and answer questions.
• Prepare equipment for use and exam rooms for patient exams.
• Position patients for imaging exams.
• Monitor patients during exams.

• Ensure safety of patients during exams.
• Produce diagnostic images of tissues and organs.
• Administer radiation therapy treatments when applicable.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals to obtain functional information.
• Analyze and report x-ray results to the physician team.
