Job summary

The Radiologic Technologist, supervised by a Radiologist, performs radiology procedures on patients in Baylor Scott & White Health's Radiology department in Waxahachie, TX. This full-time day shift includes Saturday, Sunday, and Monday in the OR setting, following established protocols.

ARRT-R Radiography certification is required. The role emphasizes patient safety, accurate imaging, documentation, and teamwork within a busy hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiology procedures on patients in accordance with exam protocols.
• Maintains imaging quality and safety standards across all procedures.
• Uses AIDET to communicate with patients and families, building rapport.
• Prepares patient and area, positions patient, and adjusts equipment for exposure.
• Documents requisitions, patient history, and other required records timely.
• Maintains department cleanliness and ensures supplies are stocked.
