Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Verifies physician order and procedure to ensure accuracy.
• Uses radiology information systems to facilitate care.
• Explains procedure to patient to ensure understanding.
• Independently operates imaging equipment according to protocol.
• Reviews patient images for diagnostic quality standard compliance.
• Performs timely quality control procedures per regulatory standards.
• Assists in departmental operations (inventory, staff schedules, equipment maintenance).
• Adapt to patient population with respect for privacy and communication style.
