Qualifications

• Eligibility for employment in the U.S.
• Associate degree in radiologic technology or radiologic sciences from an accredited program is required
• Wisconsin Radiographer license is required
• ARRT certification in the applicable modality (Surgical X-Ray or X-Ray) is required
• BLS certification is required upon hire
• Cell phone to interface with secure messaging system is required

Responsibilities

• Advocate for patients’ rights and provide compassionate care
• Operate x-ray imaging independently to complete routine and complex exams
• Capture high-quality diagnostic images while following protocol
• Assist surgeons and operating room staff with real-time imaging, including C-arm
• Maintain quality of radiographs following standards and procedures
• Follow safety standards (ALARA) to protect patients and staff
• Record data accurately into EMR and PACS system
• Collaborate with radiologists, providers, and clinicians to support diagnostic needs
• Perform quality control checks and troubleshoot imaging equipment
• Monitor imaging supplies and restock as needed
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate imaging tasks with schedules
