AdventHealth Tampa is a faith-based, not-for-profit 626-bed tertiary-level acute care hospital located in Tampa, Florida. It specializes in cardiovascular medicine, neuroscience, neurology, digestive health, orthopedics, women’s services, pediatrics, oncology, endocrinology, bariatrics, wound healing, sleep medicine, and general surgery, including minimally invasive and robot-assisted procedures. The hospital hosts GME programs in general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine, and transitional year. It is home to the AdventHealth Pepin Heart Institute, a leader in cardiovascular care for over 35 years, and the Kiran C. Patel Research Institute, which advances clinical and academic research in neuroscience, cardiovascular medicine, and surgery.
Radiologic Technologists perform radiographic examinations to create images for diagnosis. They integrate scientific knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care and diagnostic information. They must maintain high accuracy in radiographic positioning and exposure techniques and assist radiologists in complex examinations.
