Qualifications

• Associate's degree in radiologic technology is required.
• ARRT certification is required upon hire.
• Maryland/Virginia radiologic technologist license required upon hire.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• 3+ years of diagnostic radiography and fluoroscopy experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate digital fluoroscopic and portable radiology equipment to obtain routine radiographs per physician specs.
• Ensure safety and quality of imaging; label and identify images correctly.
• Support training and education activities within the department.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and manage supplies and inventory.
• Communicate with patients to gather medical history and explain procedures.
• Perform quality control on equipment and report issues promptly.
• Educate patients and prepare them for procedures; address concerns as needed.
• Coordinate patient flow and document care in EHR; distribute images to PACS.
