Job summary

Piedmont Newton Hospital is seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist to operate diagnostic imaging equipment, deliver patient care, and support a full range of radiology services across neonatal to geriatric populations.

The role requires completion of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited training, plus 2 years of experience and ARRT/BCLS certifications, and it involves performing fluoroscopy and lumbar puncture procedures as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program required.
• 2 years experience required.
• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R) Upon Hire Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required

Responsibilities

• Operates radiologic equipment to make clinical diagnostic radiographs and performs routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices.
• Provide patient services using imaging modalities.
• Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
• Demonstrates ability to perform advance diagnostic imaging (Fluoroscopy and Lumbar punctures).
• Provides more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.
