Job description

Hourly Pay Range:

$29.68 - $46.00 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

  • Position: Radiologic Technologist II

  • Location: 3329 75th Street, Woodridge

  • Floating Locations: Bolingbrook, Naperville, Plainfield

  • Per Diem/PRN

  • Hours: As Needed

What you will do:

Operates a variety of radiology equipment to produce radiographs of the body for diagnostic purposes as directed by the Radiologists, in accordance to established protocols. Assists physicians and other clinical staff with obtaining films, images, and other records using the Radiology PACS or hospital information systems. Explains procedure to patients, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust. Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects of job.

What you will need:

Education: High School Diploma or GED. A minimum of an Associate's Degree or higher, preferred

License: IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure

Certifications: Certificate of Completion or a letter from the Radiology Program Director from the Radiology School attended.Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by either American Heart Association or Red Cross. At a minimum, must be a candidate for ARRT(R) (American Registry of Radiological Technology) certification (i.e., Certificate of Program Completion or a letter from the Radiology Program Director of the accredited school.).

Experience: Knowledge of all current American College of Radiology(ACR)/JCAHO requirements in order to maintain compliance with all rules and regulations. Prior x-ray experience in a surgical environment, preferred
