Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Radiography Technologist.
  • Certification by ARRT in Radiography, with current registration.

Job description

Join an energetic, patient-focused team as a Radiologic Technologist I - Part-Time at Outpatient Imaging Affiliates in Chevy Chase, Maryland. This position is for Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, from 8AM to 4:30PM.

Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Radiology Medical Director, the Diagnostic Imaging technologist performs radiographic procedures, ensures safety and compliance, and collaborates with the team to improve clinical practices.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Performing radiographic procedures and related techniques.
  2. Maintaining a safe environment in accordance with guidelines and regulations.
  3. Collaborating with the imaging team and providing feedback for practice improvement.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Radiography Technologist.
  • Associate’s Degree in Radiology or completion of an accredited two-year radiology program.
  • Certification by ARRT in Radiography, with current registration, and state licensure.
  • BLS certification within 60 days of hire.

Skills & Abilities: Proficiency with radiographic equipment, ability to work independently, strong documentation skills, understanding of anatomy and medical terminology, and computer skills.
