Job summary

MaineGeneral Health in Central Maine is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our imaging team. You will perform radiological examinations, apply professional judgment, and comply with department policies to deliver quality care.

Applicants must be ARRT-registered and hold or obtain a Maine state license within 180 days of hire; BLS is preferred. This full-time role offers 36 hours weekly and a competitive hourly wage with shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
• State of Maine License for Radiologic Technology/Radiographer (RT) required OR Temporary State of Maine License for Radiologic Technology/Radiographer (RT) required.
• Registered as ARRT and State of Maine License required within 180 days of hire.
• Until license is obtained, BLS Healthcare Provider preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiological examinations.
• Exercises independent and professional judgment to produce quality radiographs.
• Abides by the policies and procedures set forth by the department.
• Recognizes the patient's condition, age limitations, and abilities, and acts accordingly to provide quality care.
