  • BLS certification required.
  • Current CEUs per ARRT requirements required.
  • For Kansas locations, current licensure as a State of Kansas Radiologic Technologist required (90 days).

Responsibilities

  • Perform radiographic procedures per department protocol. Able to utilize and be completely competent with fluoroscopy, C‑arm, portable exams, bone density and all diagnostic equipment.
  • Perform essential RIS/HIS functions.
  • Perform and maintain LEAN practices as it relates to Patient Safety and Quality.
  • Assist radiologist in all appropriate procedures.

Radiology Tech (Cross Training in CT Available)

Overview

Under the direction of a radiologist, Radiologic Technologist performs technical pediatric radiographic procedures without constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required. Participates in department and hospital LEAN improvement activities that align with the five True North Pillars. In addition, supports the CMH Service Excellence Program through demonstrated knowledge of CMH Shared Values, Mission and Vision, and Strategic Plan.

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $28.25/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
