Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging procedures in alignment with safety and quality standards. You will review orders, educate patients, prepare equipment, and ensure high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.

The position is onsite in Colorado with evening shifts. You will work independently in a fast-paced environment, maintain safety protocols, and may assist students while growing through a structured career ladder and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-R) and applicable state licensure, if required.
• Current BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and physician orders, educate patients about procedures, and schedule appointments.
• Prepare and administer contrast media or medications within scope, monitors patient condition, and responds to changes.
• Prepare equipment, selects imaging parameters, follows safety protocols, and troubleshoots equipment issues.
• Positions patients, performs imaging, analyzes image quality, and takes corrective actions as needed. Transmits images and may assist students.
• Utilizes critical thinking, works independently in a fast-paced environment, and ensures optimal imaging outcomes.
