Job summary

UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform and interpret radiographic studies, collaborate with providers, and ensure accurate patient imaging across all ages. The role emphasizes patient care, safety, and seamless documentation within a fast‑paced urgent care setting.

Responsibilities include operating X-ray equipment, maintaining QA/QC logs, and contributing to a multidisciplinary team that supports growth and high standards of care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist program required.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.
• ARRT registration required at time of hire.
• State licensure as Radiologic Technologist required at time of hire (if applicable).
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and analyze patient x‑rays and report results to providers.
• Collaborate with providers and medical assistants on patient care and communication.
• Apply ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis across all ages.
• Maintain medical records and QA/QC logs; provide administrative support as needed.
• Ensure radiation safety and adherence to ALARA practices.
• Position patients correctly and assist with rooming and patient preparation.
