Job summary

UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging, ensure proper patient positioning, and adhere to radiation safety protocols. You will work under clinical supervision to deliver accurate x-rays across all ages, support with patient prep, and contribute to a smooth radiology workflow.

The role requires ARRT certification, state licensure where applicable, and BLS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist program.
• ARRT registration required at time of hire; state licensure as applicable by state law.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform x-ray procedures for patients across all ages.
• Position patients correctly and ensure protection during imaging.
• Operate imaging equipment following ALARA principles.
• Assist with patient preparation and rooming; collect medical history as needed.
• Maintain and document patient records and procedure logs.
• Collaborate with providers and medical staff to deliver timely imaging results.
