Job summary

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS

• Required CRT license required, fluoro permit required within 6 months of employment start date.

The employee must demonstrate a pull lift of 50 pounds from the floor.

Radiologic Technologist (AHCL)

Assists physician in administering opaque media. Clerical through technical, as needed. Instructs and trains ancillary personnel as necessary and assists with cross training of other x-ray personnel. Maintains and meets expectations on time for all competencies, license, certifications and education requirements as outlined by local administration, Adventist Health (AH), The Joint Commission (TJC), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and all other regulatory agencies. Maintains and troubleshoots lazar printing equipment and PACS. Maintains quality control for designated area and participates in hospital-wide quality assurance program. Operates imaging equipment to produce radiographs of designated areas of the body. Provides safe, age appropriate care.
