Job summary

Adventist Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to supervise and perform radiographic examinations in collaboration with the Director of Imaging and Radiologist. This position supports efficient department operation and continuity of patient care, and is represented by RCHEA.

Requirements include ARRT (R), BLS per AHA, CRT license, fluoro permit within 6 months, and the ability to work independently with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• One to five years experience as a staff technologist preferred.
• ARRT (R) certification required; BLS certification per AHA guidelines required.
• CRT license required; fluoro permit within 6 months of start date.
• Ability to maintain a positive professional manner in stressful situations.
• Strong organizational and follow-up capabilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and perform radiographic examinations under supervision.
• Contribute to department efficiency and patient care quality and continuity.
• Maintains equipment and PACS, and supports staff training and cross-training.
• Participates in continuing education and department meetings.
• Performs in a multi-modality department and ensures radiation protection.
