Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, high-quality images, and precise documentation. You will communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams to support optimal care.

Graduates of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program with ARRT registry or eligibility are encouraged to apply. This full-time radiology position requires BLS within 30 days and may include rotating shifts.

The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires proficiency in operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging and accurate documentation standards. Effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals is essential for providing optimal care.

Hours/Schedule

Full-Time (36-hrs per week)

Varies/Rotating

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours.

Experience: no experience required

Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.

Certification/Registration: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registry or registry eligible. Achieved ARRT registry within 6 months of hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements:

Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.

Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.

Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
