Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the Texas Back Institute in Plano. This full-time role operates Monday–Friday days, with no nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements, offering the chance to join a supportive imaging team.

You will perform radiology procedures, document patient information in the EHR, and support quality control and safety practices while pursuing ongoing education to stay current in imaging technologies.

Qualifications

  • Must demonstrate patient-centered care and safety consciousness.
  • Experience with radiology workflows and common imaging procedures.
  • Ability to maintain accurate patient and procedure records.
  • Familiarity with equipment quality control and calibration.

Responsibilities

  • Perform radiology procedures for evaluation and treatment by attending physician.
  • Record patient information and maintain electronic health records (EHR).
  • Ensure patient comfort and adhere to safety procedures.
  • Maintain and improve diagnostic imaging knowledge and skills with ongoing education resources.
  • Perform quality control checks on radiologic/x-ray equipment.
  • Assist with general patient care if needed.

Seeking a Radiologic Technologist for our Texas Back Institute practice who provides specialized expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care. What you will do in this role
  • You will perform timely radiology procedures for evaluation and treatment by attending physician
  • You will properly record patient information and maintain EHR
  • Maintain patient comfort and adhere to proper safety procedures
  • Maintain and improving diagnostic imaging knowledge and x-ray tech skills with support and assistance of outside educational resources
  • You will perform quality control checks/audits on radiologic / x-ray equipment
  • You may assist with general patient care if needed
What Qualifications you will need
  • Must hold a degree from an accredited school for Radiology Technology
  • 2 years training in an accredited school for Radiology Technology is required
  • Minimum of 2 years basic x-ray experience and/or trauma work is required
  • Must have a current ARRT license
