Job summary

HHM Health in Dallas is seeking a Radiologic Technician to join the Imaging team in the Dallas area. The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to assist providers in diagnosing and treating medical conditions with patient-centered care.

The role emphasizes high-quality imaging, patient safety, and adherence to radiation protection standards. ARRT certification and an associate degree are required, with licensure and CPR/BLS preferred.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • ARRT certification required.
  • Active state licensure as required.
  • CPR/BLS certification preferred.
  • Previous clinical or outpatient experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of EHR systems (eClinicalWorks) preferred.
  • Bilingual abilities in Spanish, Pashto, Burmese or Rohingya to assist diverse patients.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and position patients for radiologic procedures with comfort and proper imaging alignment.
  • Explain procedures and monitor patients to maintain safety and comfort during exams.
  • Operate radiologic equipment to capture diagnostic images following established protocols.
  • Adjust exposure settings to meet exam specifications and quality standards.
  • Perform X-rays in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Apply radiation safety measures to protect patients and staff.
  • Conduct quality control checks and report equipment issues as needed.
  • Manage administrative tasks, including documentation, EMR updates, supply maintenance, and logs.

The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to assist providers in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. What You Need To Succeed
  • Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technologyor related field
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)required
  • Active state licensure (asrequired)
  • Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
  • Previousclinical or outpatient experience preferred
  • Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems;eClnicalWorkspreferred.
  • Bilingual skills in Spanish, Pashto,Burmeseor Rohingya toassista diverse patient population.
