Job summary

Hospital for Special Surgery in New York seeks a Regular Full Time Radiology Technologist to join our imaging team. The role requires 0–1 years of experience, an AAS in Radiologic Technology, ARRT registration, and Florida license and registration if applicable.

You will perform CR/DR radiographic procedures, position patients, operate high‑quality imaging equipment, and maintain accurate exam documentation while upholding patient safety standards.

Qualifications

• Assoicates, Radiology. Accredited School of Radiologic Technology (AAS).
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• BLS and ARRT Registration; FL license.
• CR/DR radiographic process competency.

Responsibilities

• Upholds Standards/Expectations of HSS Staff - Prioritizes assignments. Demonstrate ability to prioritize, manage time, and maximize productivity.
• Supports Department Activities - Dependable and reliable. Is dependable and reliable with coworkers and independent work.
• Plans and Organizes - Supports department goals & objectives. Supports the department goals and objectives.
• Upholds HSS Professional/Clinical Standards - General (Communication).Initiates and maintains open, direct and effective documented and verbal communication with colleagues/medical staff and all members of the department as applicable. Responds to emails, and communications/ messages as soon as possible in a professional manner with compassion and understanding.

ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS

Indoor area with frequent exposure. Located in an indoor area with frequent exposure to mild physical discomfort from dust, fumes, temperature, and noise. Examples: patient care providers and laboratory technicians.

HAZARDS OSHA

OSHA Category 3. Tasks that involve no exposure to blood, body fluids, tissues, or other potentially infectious materials and Category 1 tasks are not a condition of employment.

• Demonstrates competency in the use of CR/DR Radiographic process.
