RAYUS Radiology is seeking a part-time Float Diagnostic and Therapeutic Injections/C-arm (DTI) Technologist to join our team. You will operate imaging modalities across multiple centers, documenting patient data in RIS, and ensuring safety and quality of care.

The role involves travel to several south metro centers, with shifts typically 8 hours, mostly weekdays, plus Saturday rotation. Cross-training opportunities in MRI or CT may be available in the future.

Qualifications

  • ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
  • Graduate of AMA approved school of radiography; licensed radiologic technologist if applicable.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Must have training and experience sufficient to competently perform radiographic procedures independently.
  • Valid drivers license and proof of current insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Performs radiographic procedures with supervision as needed.
  • Screens patients for precautions or contraindications.
  • Explains procedures and positions patients for correct imaging.
  • Adjusts scan parameters as required to obtain quality images.
  • Maintains accurate patient records in RIS.
  • Maintains clean, safe work area and equipment.

RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Float Diagnostic and Therapeutic Injections/C-arm (DTI) Technologistto join our team. As a Float DTI Technologist, you willoperate a scanner in assigned modality(s) to produce images of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes, assuring that services are provided to patients and referring specialists within professional standards at multiple centers within the market.This is a part-time (20-29 hours/week) position traveling to multiple centers (typically south metro) working various weekdays between 8:00am-5:00pm (8 hour shifts and no call); includes Saturday rotation. There will be an opportunity to cross-train in MRI or CT in the future.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs routine and advanced procedures on designated portions of the body for use by physicians in the diagnosing and treating of patient illness and/or injury with minimal amount of supervision or repeats
  • Screens patient before exam for any precautions or contraindications pertaining to the examination
  • Explains and prepares patients for procedures that will be performed, explaining the procedure and positioning patients so that the parts of the body can be appropriately scanned
  • Adjusts scan parameters correctly and as needed
  • Maintains positive attitude and working relationships with radiologist, referring customers and other associates and peers
  • Converses with doctors, nurses, patients and family members as required
  • Follows physicians' orders precisely and conforms to safety regulations to protect themselves, their patients, and coworkers
  • Accurately maintains patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS)
  • Maintains an orderly and clean work area promoting good safety habits for patients and co-workers

(15%) Imaging Support

  • Maintains equipment in good working order; cleans and disinfects equipment after each use
  • Participates in staff meetings with employee involvement
  • Assists in maintaining an updated radiographic protocol manual
  • Assists with training of new associates, providing resource and technical expertise

(5%) Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

Required:

  • ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing
  • Graduate of the American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
  • Must have training and experience sufficient to competently perform radiographic procedures independently
  • Valid driver's license and proof of current insurance
