Job summary
Endeavor Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team at Highland Park Hospital. You will perform radiographic exams, prepare patients, ensure comfort, and maintain high-quality images for RIS submission.
The role supports per diem and full-time schedules, with shifts including PMs, overnights, and weekends. Qualified candidates have an accredited radiology program degree, CPR certification, ARRT certification within 2 years, and IEMA licensing.
Qualifications
- Certificate or Associate degree from an accredited radiology program.
- CPR certification required; ARRT certification within 2 years.
- IEMA licensing required.
- Previous radiology experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for exam: obtain history, explain procedures, position patients, and ensure comfort.
- Perform radiographic exams.
- Review radiographs to ensure optimum quality.
- Complete and submit information and images to RIS promptly.
- Operate equipment independently with minimal assistance.
- Check supplies, stock room and maintain department cleanliness.
- Assist in printing films and retrieval of reports.
- May work at other NorthShore off-site facilities to accommodate schedules.
- Report environmental/equipment problems to appropriate personnel.
