Job summary

UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care in Pittsburgh is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (RT) to support imaging services for patients of all ages.

You will work with providers and medical assistants, perform x-ray exams, and apply ionizing radiation under provider supervision. Training and ongoing development are provided.

Candidates must have ARRT registration, state licensure if required, BLS, and a radiologic technologist program graduate; high school diploma required. No fluoroscopy or OR cases.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist program required.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.
• ARRT registration required at time of hire.
• State licensure as Radiologic Technologist required at time of hire where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with providers and Medical Assistants on patient care.
• Deliver imaging services using X-ray technology for patients of all ages.
• Perform X-ray exams and report results to Providers.
• Provide administrative support to maintain medical records and patient files.
• Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and safety during imaging.

Education

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
